Hey! I recently heard from someone who registered at a credit union in Rexburg, that gave them free hotel vouchers for a few nights in places like San Diego, Seattle, etc. and they're using them for the honeymoon. Just for registering there. Maybe some Utah credit unions do that? I think it was either Beehive Credit Union, of East Idaho Credit Union.
Also, we put a bowl by the guest book for people to drop envelopes with cash or checks into. (I'm sure you could come up with a clever label to let people know that's what its for) And let me tell you, it added up. As we were driving to our honeymoon, I opened all the cards and we totaled it up and then used that money for activities and food on our honeymoon, and the leftover to start our first joint checking account and to get things for the apartment that we didn't get from wedding gifts, like pillows, towels, rugs, etc.
Getting so excited for August! Hey we should chat or send me an email or something about the schedule of events around the wedding. I'm starting to plan our trip travel and would love to be present at any times you'd like me there.
